Grenoble École de Management and Mountain Change Makers have joined forces around a question that is central to mountain territories: how will we live, work and learn in the mountains in 2050? As part of the MSc Management of Sports & Outdoor Markets, students used Design Fiction methods to explore possible, probable and desirable futures around the concept of the “Campus of Transitions”, an idea imagined as part of the collective’s reflections on youth and the new narratives of the mountains.
The newsletters you are about to discover do not seek to predict the future, but to open up discussion and make potential transformations of mountain territories tangible.
We invite you to read them with curiosity and a critical mind: what seems credible to you? Desirable? Or, on the contrary, questionable or worrying? Your feedback will feed into the final stage of the project, in which the students will have to turn these visions of the future into concrete strategic recommendations for Mountain Change Makers and its members.
